Together4Teachers: Commemorating the Foundation of Teaching


 As part of this year’s National Teachers Month Celebrations, the theme for this year is “Together4Teachers”. It is imperative such through education as posed by teachers’ involvement. Parents alone cannot do this since they are not trained to be educators. Hence, teachers sculpt them such that they are self-fulfilled and productive members of society.


By knowing and understanding their students and their surroundings, teachers act as more than just instructors as they help students aspire beyond the limits of textbook textbooks to internalize virtues like compassion, dedication, and accountability. From year to year, especially in recent events like the global pandemic, they have been showing great innovation which enables education even when circumstances are tough. Still, the journey of the teacher is not as rosy as it is designed. Many enter the teaching profession battling with large classes, few resources, and an ungrateful society, but even those in the trenches remain loyal.


During these festivities, we particularly highlight and appreciate what they have done in order to the dignity of their position. It is only by acting “Together4Teachers” that such professionals will be in a position to perform the duty of nurturing the future of the upcoming generations.
